What to Expect at Your First Silent Book Club Meet-up


Before You Arrive 

  • Complete the RSVP form
  • Choose your reading material (any format!) 📚📱🎧
  • Check the venue details for meetup location

Our meetups generally last two hours and follow the schedule below:

First 30 min : Settle In

Say hello to your host. Grab a refreshment and/or snack. Find a chair and get comfortable. Introduce yourself to other attendees OR feel free to dive into your reading. If you’ve brought any electronic devices with you, please set them to silent.

Middle Hour : Introvert Happy Hour

Enjoy a protected hour to read silently in the company of other readers. Please wear headphones if you’re listening to an audiobook or would like to listen to music while you read.

Final 30 min: Wrap up / Optional Social Time

Exchange book recommendations with fellow attendees. Discuss the book you're reading (if you’d like). If you’d prefer to keep reading, you're welcome to do so until our event ends.
